2. What GribGrab is

GribGrab is a free weather chart web application. It displays 7-day hourly forecasts — temperature, precipitation, wind, pressure, and cloud cover — for any city worldwide. No account, registration, or payment is required to use it.

3. Acceptable use

You may use GribGrab for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to overload, scrape, or systematically extract data from the app
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app's code without permission
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

4. Weather data attribution

Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence. If you republish or embed data sourced from GribGrab, you must include this attribution.

You may embed the GribGrab widget on your own website, including a commercial one, provided the Open-Meteo credit shown in the widget remains visible. It is free to use today. We may in future reserve some options — such as a chart reaching beyond one day, or removing the GribGrab link — for paid plans, and we may change or withdraw the widget at any time. It is provided without warranty; do not rely on it where being wrong about the weather is dangerous.

5. No warranty

Weather forecasts are probabilistic estimates, not guarantees. GribGrab is provided as is, without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on forecast data.

7. Third-party services

GribGrab uses third-party APIs to retrieve data. Their terms apply to their respective services:

• Open-Meteo Terms
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim Terms
• Tally.so Terms — feedback form service
• PostHog Terms — anonymous analytics and consent-gated session recordings. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of GribGrab after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "last updated" date above indicates when the current version took effect.
